The Jacksonville Arboretum is a hidden gem of Jacksonville, for sure. It’s beautiful and peaceful – a nice little haven in nature.
The arboretum is located in east Jacksonville, in between downtown and the beaches. It’s free to visit but donations are greatly appreciated, as is volunteering to maintain the gardens and trails. There are a few trails that you can walk, ranging from paved concrete to dirt and 0.5 to up to 3+ miles in length.
Beyond this brief description, I’m going to let the photos do the talking in this post. If you want to learn more about the Jax Arboretum, visit this website or check it out for yourself! 10/10 recommend for all ages.
