Merry Christmas!

Wow, Christmas really creeped up on me this year! March is less than 3 months away, and I feel like I’m barely processing last March.

I hope that you’re having a wonderful holiday season, whether you celebrate Christmas or Hanukah or any other holiday, or none at all, which is something I’ve learned is a thing.

Unfortunately, I will be spending Christmas alone (well, with my cat) for the first time in my life, but I will see some of my family soon. We’ll be opening presents over Zoom, and I’m happy to be able to do that with them. Hopefully I’ll be able to go back to my hometown and visit my family next year. *fingers crossed*

This year, I feel like Christmas is definitely more than the material things. I know that every year it’s always about more than the presents, but I feel it even more this year. I’m grateful for my family’s health. For the opportunities that I’ve had this year, getting a new job, when many have lost their jobs. To be able to safely move to Florida during a pandemic. To grow my self confidence this year because I’ve had so much more time to focus on myself and how I view and treat myself. To spend so much more time exploring the outdoors since I’ve avoided going to places with other people to social distance. For you! For another year writing on my blog and the wonderful people I have engaging with it. I know that my blog is still very small, but I like it this way and I’m grateful for you.

There’s lots to be grateful for this year, and I just wanted to say thank you and Merry Christmas. ❤
