Quarantine has made me really introspective about the places that I’ve been lucky enough to visit, and which places I would love to visit again. Of course I’m feeling the wanderlust, so here are a few places that I really want to visit again at some point in my life!
Philadelphia is rich in history and beautiful buildings. I’ve only been once before, and only for a few hours. I had enough time to explore Independence National Historic Park, but not much beyond the park. There’s so much additional history that I haven’t explored yet – not to mention having a Philly Cheesesteak in Philly!

I absolutely adore New Orleans! It’s a place that I will probably always love and always want to visit again and again. There is so much culture and history that I can’t get enough of, and the food is delicious! I’ve been twice before, once was only very briefly, but it was still so much fun.

White Sands National Park, New Mexico
When I visited White Sands, it was a national monument. Since then, it has been upgraded to a national park! White Sands is in the middle of no where in New Mexico, so if you visit, it’s likely on your way somewhere else, which is what happened to me. I was driving through New Mexico and decided to stop at White Sands for the afternoon. I rented a sled and went sledding through the sand dunes, which was so much fun! (It also made the rest of the drive home very uncomfortable and sandy.)

Charlotte, North Carolina & Savannah, Georgia
I’m tying Charlotte, North Carolina and Savannah, Georgia together. (I know that they’re obviously different cities in different states, but they are so similar in experiences and looks.) I was roadtripping along the coast and stopped in Charlotte and Savannah along my route, so I was only able to stay in each location for a few hours. However, in those few hours, I adored these cute little southern towns. They’re very charming and beautiful, and I would love to be able to spend a few days in each town.

Grand Canyon National Park, Arizona
Unfortunately, I do not have any recent photos of the Grand Canyon and that’s exactly why I want to go again. I went once when I was a kid, but haven’t been since then. The Gran Canyon is obviously one of the most incredible places in the United States, even the world, and I would love to go again. It’s a beautiful place to photograph and hike, and ultimately, I would love to hike the entire Grand Canyon from rim to rim at some point in my life.
My beloved Hawaii. As a birthday and post-college graduation gift to myself, I went to Maui and Oahu. This was probably the most magical and amazing trip of my entire life. I went snorkeling with sea turtles, hiked to a waterfall, experienced Pearl Harbor’s history, enjoyed from fresh papaya, and so much more. The trip lasted a week and I didn’t want to leave. I’m desperate to go back again, and I hope to go back as soon as I can.

And that’s just a few places that I would love to visit post-quarantine! I love travelling and miss is dearly, so for now, writing about the places I want to visit has to suffice.
