Merry Christmas!

Merry Christmas!

I hope that you have a Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays!

I’m going to keep this post short because I just wanted to say thank you, and I hope that you have a wonderful holiday season.

This year, I have the honor of traveling home and being with my family. Spending the second half of this year over 1200 miles away (minimum!) from my family in Houston, it’s made me appreciate being able to go home for the holidays. I know that not everyone is able to, and I thank them for their work or service… or apologize that they were unable to go home or have a home to go to for the holidays. I’ve realized that while my family drives me nuts and I’m usually happy to be leaving by the time I have to get back to work, I’m lucky.

I’m lucky because I have my family. I have my friends, located all around the country. I have my apartment and my kitty. I have my job. I have so much to be grateful for. I’ve always said that I don’t need presents and Christmas should just be about spending time with family. But for the first time, I really believe that. I only get 5 days home with my family this year, but this is probably the only time that I will get to be with my whole family until next Christmas. It’s a crazy thought to have because my family is very close and we’ve never spent more than a couple of months away from one another.

I also have my blog and all of my new subscribers. So, THANK YOU for being here. Thank you for subscribing to my blog and reading my posts. When you comment, I feel like I am creating my own online community or family. You help make everything I’ve done on here worth it. I wouldn’t keep posting on here if it weren’t for you. So, again, thank you.

I truly hope that you have a wonderful holiday and enjoy the season. I’ll see you next year.
