I went to Froberg’s Farm in Alvin, Texas! I love pumpkin patches and corn mazes and all of those fall experiences! Autumn is my favorite season so I absolutely love going to fall festivals like the one in Alvin.
Alvin is located about 30 miles south of Houston. It’s a quick and simple drive that takes you to the beautiful countryside outskirts. I’d never been to Alvin, but I thought that it was a cute and quaint little country town.
Every October Froberg’s Farm has what they call their “Fall Festival.” You can go through their corn maze and Sunflower Trail,
pick flowers in their field,
or pumpkin patch,
tour their farm, or play some fall-inspired games or at their really cool playground.
It’s $10 for adults to get a wristband, which buys you access to all of the attractions, except the games or tour. The games and tour cost “tokens,” and each token costs a dollar.
There are plenty of photo opportunities throughout the farm, too. It’s perfect for families to get cute fall family photos and spend the morning.
There’s a cute little picnic area with big beautiful trees to eat some yummy kettle corn or if you buy some snacks at their bakery and shop.
Inside the shop, you can buy fresh produce or goods grown, made and packaged at the farm. Everything seems pretty reasonably priced and delicious. I bought some kettle corn and a dark chocolate pumpkin spice cake pop, which was sooooo yummy!
Overall, I thought that Froberg’s Farm was a very fun place to visit and would recommend it for families with small children — they’ll love it!
